Das Sartuul ist ein Schaf mit einer sehr weichen Unterwolle und einem Gefühl von Kaschmir, das in der Provinz Zavhkan lebt. Diese Schafe werden seit Ewigkeiten in der Mongolei in Herden mit anderen Tieren zusammengetrieben.

Nomadische Hirten, die die Tiere betreuen, wählen die feinsten Fasern aus, die gewaschen und kardiert werden, bevor sie von in Nepal von qualifizierten Spinner:innen in Heimarbeit handgesponnen werden. Das quadratische Etikett am Strang verrät, aus wessen Hand das Garn stammt.

Wir bieten dieses Garn in 3 unterschiedlichen Stärken an (2-fädig - fingering, 4-fädig-Aran und 8-fädig-Bulky), so ist diese ganz besondere Wolle vielseitig verwendbar!

Nomadnoos Garne werden von qualifizierten Färbern mit ZDHC-Färbefarben von Hand gefärbt.
