The Sartuul is a sheep with a very soft undercoat and a cashmere feel that lives in Zavhkan Province. These sheep have been herded together with other animals in Mongolia for ages. Nomadic herders who look after the animals select the finest fibers, which are washed and carded before being hand-spun by skilled home spinners in Nepal. The square label on the skein reveals who crafted it.
